 Hey look us over ...
THE FINALS ARE IN FULL SWING & THE HAWKS ARE BUSY: Last weekend gave the 1sts a well earned rest before they continue their very successful year while match results in the other three grades saw 2nds, A Grade & B Grade continue on their quest for grand final berths. For those not at No.2 Sportsground on 23/8/2008 the scoreboard photo above explains why 1sts needed a rest after that game, the last competition round. Whilst it might read like the score in a 20/20 cricket match was in fact the final score in the final competition round. A truly memorable day. ******************************* Saturday 30th August - Qualifying Semi Finals Results: Premier 2 Hamilton (19) vs University (12) B Grade Hamilton (7) vs Merewether Carlton (12) Sunday 31st August - Elimination Semi Final Results: A Grade Hamilton (19) vs Griffins (17) This Weeks Games: Saturday 6 September – Major Semi Finals at Townson Oval - Merewether

Founded in 1966 with just two junior teams, the club now supports four senior grades, a womens team as well as junior teams. The club also actively sponsors the development of rugby programs in primary schools in the district. The Hawks are based at Wickham Park off Albert Street. The park includes two full sized fields (Passmore & Hawkins), a third juniors field, grandstand, hills, majestic fig trees and plenty of car-parking. Our nest is the Sunnyside Tavern in Hamilton North. After training, after matches or just Sunday afternoons drop in for a cold beer and lot's of laughs.
